The strip out, extension and redevelopment of a large Victorian building, formerly the headquarters of The Royal Entomological Society to form a luxury dwelling including a swimming pool, cinema room and snooker room, 8 bedrooms and staff quarters.
The engineering for the basement excavation for the swimming pool was complex and the time period for procurement was short.
The design team worked cohesively to prepare designs that could be constructed economically. Construction Management procurement route was agreed so that the works could commence on site quickly and the design period overlapped the construction works.
